Carnival and Parade
Each year, we hold the Pleasant Gap Fire Company Carnival. It is usually the last full week of July. If you have an organization that would like to participate in the parade, please email parade@fire8.com.
Gun Raffle
We hold a gun raffle annually, usually in October. The gun raffle is a great time for all who attend. Your ticket gives you access to attend the raffle in person and enjoy the all you can eat buffet. There are many other raffles that are held on the day of the event in addition to the main gun raffle drawing. See a member to get your gun raffle tickets.
Other Events and Facility Rentals
Several other community organizations hold events in support of the fire company, or utilize our grounds for their events. Most notably, there is the Smokin’ in the Gap competition held by Pennwood. Also the Pleasant Gap Lioness Club holds an annual Easter egg hunt on the carnival grounds. If you would like to rent our carnival grounds and/or out buildings, please contact the station at 814-359-2102. We do not rent the main building / station for events.
Due to liability reasons, we do not fill swimming pools.
