On 8/23/2011 just before 2PM, Pleasant Gap Fire Company was alerted for a mutual aid call to assist the Bellefonte Fire Department at 127 Waites Hill Road at the scene of a well-involved garage fire. Engine/Rescue 814 set up a fill site and Rescue 818 operated at the scene performing RIT and then overhaul duties.

The Pleasant Gap Fire Company will hold their annual gun raffle on 17-September at the Pleasant Gap Fire Company Carnival Grounds. Gates open at 12:00 Noon. An All-You-Can eat buffet will be provided (Sorry, no carry-out).
