Around 0530 hrs on Tuesday 27-July Company 8 was dispatched to Lower Coleville Road in Spring Township for a fully involved dwelling fire. Rescue 818 was assigned RIT for the entire duration of the call. Engine 810 was initially called for a fill site, and then later transferred into Bellefonte Boro. Tanker 819 assisted with the water supply operation.

At 2:15 AM, Pleasant Gap Fire Rescue and EMS were dispatched to East College Avenue, for a Motor Vehicle Collision with Entrapment. A witness observed the vehicle leave the roadway and roll several times before coming to rest. Rescue 818, Ambulances 850 and 852 arrived on scene to find one patient ejected from the vehicle and entrapped under a chain-link fence. The other patient was entrapped inside the vehicle. Both patients were extricated. One patient was flown from the scene and the second was flowed from Mount Nittany Medical Center. Engine / Rescue 114 provided landing zone operations for the helicopter.
